Our Team

The Daily Scoop in Wodonga is owned by Jenny and Lubosh Hanuska. We created the store concept following many years of research into ice cream as a business. We found that this really was one of the businesses which you can love to run, and we put all our energy into it. We also have Josie our oldest daughter to help us, and during busy times we employ some casual servers, mainly in the peak season during weekends. In the new summer season of 2008 we also welcome our casual staff: Rita Antone, Chelsea Wernert and Breanne Hardman.

 

 

After starting with a traditional Italian gelato and sorbet we invited a second generation ice cream maker from Europe to help us during our first summer season. His name is Erkin Metohajro and his help was very much appreciated - our collaboration improved our recipe, and although we do not have the same ingredients as they use in Central Europe we certainly believe the unique blend of traditional ice cream preparation and the best local ingredients sets us apart from other frozen desserts!
